Brief: To create a visual identity that forms part of the brand experience for a festival. The Northwest Folklife Festival is a wide-reaching experience for people of all ages and cultural backgrounds present in the region. It is committed to celebrating the diversity ofNorthwestern communities and funded every year through donations.
Response: I designed a new brand identity and logo for Folklife. By bringing a design experience to the festival goers I believe they will be more likely to make a donation. The new brand embraces the PNW region and emphasizes the values of Folklife while adding a brightness and fun-feel to the festival.
